Vendor Telephone Number is not updating with blank in SAP ECC while processing data from SAP MDM

Hi Experts,

We have scenario Vendor master data flows from SAP MDM---> XI--->SAPECC.

Requirement: Need to update existing telephone number with blank value  for a vendor in SAP ECC.

Issue: When we maintain blank telephone number SAP MDM(Data manager)  for vendor while syndicating vendor from MDM it is not updating/passing the blank value segment in XML.

Please suggest how to update the phone number blank in ec.
