Well a possibility can be that there is a conditional logic for a field (assuming) and that is not generating right result for a specific data value.Since you cannot check the MDM data as it has undergone update nothing can be said with certainty.

Hello Ravi
Null record has been syndicated in MDM syndication. If condition is set then null value should not be syndicated but record was syndicated I can able to view the file in archive location. How PI will generate null value can u please explain it?
Hi Keerthi,
I was only going by what you said here "This issue is happening once in a month I tried to track the syndicated null record but it was updated now"
So,if you have the archive file then u can reproduce the error and if the issue happens again then it can be reported to SAP.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Ravi,
I actually made the documentation using screen captures of the repository taken directly from the SAP MDM Console. Because StakeHolders need the information of the Main Tables.
Thanks for your reply,
Elkin
Hi Mohan,
Your reply it´s a good approach of my goal, but in this project we are not using SAP Data Services, we are using SAP PI instead.
I actually made the documentation using screen captures of the repository taken directly from the SAP MDM Console and it´s a quick solution for us.
Thanks for your reply,
Elkin
Hi all,
I´m looking for a SAP MDM Certification, but I can not watch it in the SAP web page, anyone knows anything about this???
Thanks for your support
Elkin.
Hello Everyone
I trying to create a batch file to run a CLIX command (see below) but unfortunately it throws an error: "Error:0xffab4147, The specified MDM repository was not found on the server". Could someone please enlighten where the problem could be?
CLIX repRemoveCompletedWorkflowJobs MDM_Server: RepositoryXXX:DBUsername:DBPassword : 5: All
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Rumy
Hi Rumy,
Please check if the user you are passing has spaces.
Also,test with other user.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Shifali,
as far as I know there is no workaround unfortunately. Hoewever you are still able to edit them. So if the issue is only that you made a mistake while creating it, you can still change them.

Gábor
Hello Ravi,
I have tried the same record in Quality but it was not syndicated.

Hi Isabelle,
Do you have end users connecting to MDM via a Portal? Sometimes Portal applications connect to the MDM server and then do not properly release the connection when the Portal process is complete.
The number of connections then increases gradually over time until eventually MDM memory is excessively utilised.
You can check the number of connections through the MDM console. You can log on to the MDM Repository in the console, and you should find "connections" as an option in the admin area of the repository.
Hope this helps.

Hello Ravi
I am having another doubt will this option enable for tuple(multi-valued)?I tried with tuple but it was in disable state

Hi Elkin,
Shouldn't be surprised to know that SAP is not offering certification for MDM right now. Folks working on current MDM version are awaiting to appear for MDM 7.1 certification which is not available from early 2010 (mere guess). Hope SAP will revive plans for MDM certification and come up with some solution at the earliest. For now, Just keep learning and wait for SAP to announce. Hope for the best!

Suppress unchange record option is enabled in MDM Syndicator but data is syndicating daily how is it possible?
Hi Keerthi,
No this is not available with Tuple.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Experts,
While accessing MDM change tracking history from portal, table that it is showing is empty.
As per note 1336601 checked all is okay.
While checking to the logs from portal

Hi Keerthi,
Answer to this can lie in -
1.Port setting - check for the suppression mode change in Console.
2.Data Model - check if related Main table data in linked/unlinked causing an update.
3.Scheduled updates - some nonuser changes are causing updates
4.Map property change.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Keerthi,
Please compare the map in Quality with that in other environment, perhaps this would help us understand this behavior.
Thanks,
Ravi
